Special Person of the Day

I met this beautiful young lady from Republic of Cameroon, Bridgett. She has lived in Nice for 10 months and works at my favorite tea shop, Girofle and Cannelle. Lovely person! The shop is in Vieux Nice. . Nice selection of teas and a joint shop with spices. Family owned business.

Day 1 Nice, France

Started the day picking up a few essentials. I wonder how many times I can climb the four flights of stairs to my apartnent? I made it twice today! Each time is a little easier.

Then stopped for Socca for breakfast.

After browsing in a few shops, walked to the Port and then along the Promenade.

Lovely day for a walk. 70 degrees and sunny, although too windy to sit near the water.

      Both sides of the Port are lined with cafes.

      I ate at Le Lunai. The mozzarella salad was quite good.
